Convert Your House Into Your Home.
In the spirit of being a full-service real estate company, we not only want to help you find your next home,
but also to make it special for you and your family.
What We Can Do For You:
One of the most common (and best) things we here at Lifestyle Real Estate Services hear after listing a client’s property for sale is “Wow! Your staging is so incredible, we’re tempted to stay here now!” After receiving this compliment so many times, we decided that it was time to expand our services to include not only staging, but interior design, as well.
The process of selling your home can be stressful. Add in the process of buying a new home, and the stress is potentially doubled. If you’re like most people, you want to get both transactions completed as quickly as possible so that you and your family can relax in your new home and return to your “regularly scheduled program”. They move in their old furniture, artwork, and knickknacks, and do little in the way of additions to really compliment the style or layout of their new home. In short, most people don’t take the time to really make their new home feel like a new home.
That’s where Lifestyle comes into play. With a history in the field of design, we have experience creating beautiful spaces, and doing so for any point along the budget spectrum. We have access to a vast network of contractors, subcontractors, custom cabinetry and furniture designers and retail suppliers, all of which can help to create a space which you’ll fall in love with.
We Can Help With:
Functional Design
With a solid history in remodeling and design, we utilize our experience not only to create great looking spaces, but we also focus on functionality based on your specific needs.
Structural Modification
After selecting the perfect bathroom tile, hardwood floor, or wall covering, we work with our hard working and reliable network of contractors to create remodeled works of art.
Focal Point Creation
Every space is different. Whether it’s an architectural feature, artwork, or a gorgeous view off in the distance, we work with you to emphasize a focal point, setting the mood and tone of a room.
And Much More.
We help with optimizing light sources, creating and balancing color schemes, adding texture, blending existing and new pieces of furniture, accessories, artwork, and so much more!
Examples of Our Work:
Below are some examples of properties we were hired to remodel, whether to prepare for placing on the market for sale, or to transform a property into a home for its new owners. Drag the slider left or right to compare the before and after images.
Castro Valley, California
Our largest remodel project to-date, this property underwent a complete and thorough transformation from ceiling to floor. Every room in the house was transformed to one degree or another, from brand new paint color palettes for a more modern, neutral feel, to brand new hardwood floors throughout the main living areas and new, neutral colored carpeting throughout the rest of the house.
Brand new tile and countertops were installed throughout the bathrooms, as well as a new backsplash in the kitchen area. A brand new, second-story back patio was constructed to allow the new homeowners to enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the San Francisco Bay. New cabinet hardware was installed throughout the kitchen and bathrooms, also.
Pinole, California
After selling a client’s home, they were so impressed with the redesigning and staging work we did in preparation of putting their home on the market, that they hired us to remodel their new home, as well! A pair of extremely busy, constantly on-the-go parents, we worked with our clients to create spaces that were family-friendly and easy to maintain.
Replacing wall-to-wall carpeting throughout the house with beautiful stone tile and hardwood floors create a more open and modern feel while reducing the amount of time cleaning. Also, replacing a plain, white wall connecting the family room, dining room, and entranceway with a bold, floor-to-ceiling stone wall-covering helped tie the home together while providing personality, as well as a clear focal point.
Richmond, California
Preparing a client’s home for sale, this design project encompassed the age-old mantra of “less is more”. Replacing bold and bright paint colors with warm, neutral colors helped to set the mood throughout this house, helping to showcase the spacious and open design of the home’s layout.
Replacing some of the oversized, chunky-styled furniture with more minimal and sleek pieces helped to better utilize the space of smaller rooms, as well as helping potential buyers of the property to better envision possibilities.
